A mere 2 years later after then University President Overman made this speech, Jack Vivian lead his Falcon hockey team onto the ice for the University's first ever intercollegiate varsity ice hockey game. Since that fateful day in November the BGSU hockey team has been renowned as one of the most successful and celebrated in college hockey.
However, recent struggles with finances and a lack of on-ice success over the last 2 decades almost lead the most famous sports program in northwest Ohio to extinction. But, with a new fundraising campaign, a new coach, and a renewed sense of optomism BGSU hockey is looking to retake their rightful place atop the CCHA and NCAA. Follow their return and attempt to Bring Back the Glory.
